Facts, images, and boilerplate for writing about Lil’. If something is missing, email hello@lil-app.com and we’ll send it.
One line
Lil’ is an agent for your relationships. Once a week it finds a few people you’ve lost touch with, explains why this is a good moment to write, and drafts the message.
The longer version
The warmest lead most people have is somebody they forgot to email. Lil’ looks at who a user emails and meets with, and when, works out which relationships have gone quiet, and each week picks a few people to bring back. For each one it explains the timing and drafts an opening message the user can send as is.
Lil’ is built on the method in Kurt Schmidt’s book The Little Book of Networking. It’s sold to individuals rather than companies, and it does the remembering itself instead of handing the user a database to maintain.

About Kurt Schmidt
Kurt Schmidt runs Schmidt Consulting Group and wrote The Little Book of Networking, along with The Attraction Agency and 10-10-10. He was President and Partner at Foundry, a Minneapolis custom software agency he scaled from three people to about fifty, and which made the Inc. 5000 twice. Before Foundry he was Director of Project Management and then Director of Strategy at The Nerdery. He hosts The Road Map with Kurt Schmidt.
One accuracy note
Lil’ reads who a user emails and meets with, and when. Subject lines help Lil’ spot conversations that may connect to a user’s goal. Users confirm what those lines mean and can turn the setting off. Lil’ cannot read message bodies, so a description of Lil’ summarizing someone’s email is wrong. The full detail is at lil-app.com/what-lil-reads.
